Hawthorns school will be taking part in ‘Energy Fortnight’. This will involve us thinking about ways that we can reduce the amount of energy we use around school. Some ideas that have already come from the Eco committee is by switching lights off when we leave a room, not leaving equipment on standby.
As well as reducing energy usage at school we would like children to think about ways they can reduce energy in their home.
