A New Fence

We want to keep improving the Wildlife Garden for our Forest School sessions. One of our favourite features is our pond, but as it fills up in winter, we need to be particularly careful around it. To keep the pupils safe, and to protect the wildlife that is attracted to the pond, we have put up a new fence around it. Inside the fence we will plant wildflower seeds, in order to attract bees and butterflies to the Garden. The fence is wooden, in keeping with our desire to use natural materials.
Mr McCarthy our Site Supervisor kindly gave up his time and applied his joinery skills to make a very neat fence – a big improvement to our Garden.
