As we come to the end of term, everything seems wintry, but there are already signs of Spring. Our broad beans are beginning to put up new shoots, and will be well established by the time we come back after our Christmas holiday.
Oak Class are going to be working on “Jack and the Beanstalk” at the start of the Spring Term, so they will be able to see our own beanstalks. They can do a lot of work linked to the classroom with these – such as measuring, comparing and deciding what methods of support are best – as well as the usual caring duties such as watering and weeding. We just hope they don’t grow as high as the ones in the story!
