Beech Class were the last class to have an Adventure Day outing this term. Like some of the others they went to Dove Stone Reservoir, and were lucky with the weather. After a few wet and cold days, it stayed mainly dry. The signs of spring were all around us, with birds singing in the trees, and buds starting to show on all the bare branches.
We saw a kestrel hovering over the shore, looking for voles or other small animals, and the moles have been very busy, with mole hills all the way up the hill.
The cheeky pheasant that came to see Willow Class arrived as soon as we sat down for our lunch, and was very keen to pick up any crumbs.
A lovely day out!
